These large, premier, Touch events take a lot of planning and operational delivery. We therefore want to acknowledge and thank those in the wider team, who helped make it happen.
Firstly, to the host city of Torrevieja. Our team on the ground worked closely with Ayuntamiento de Torrevieja in collaboration with ConcejalĂa Deportes Torrevieja Sports City, to use their fantastic facilities..
The additions that the city and tourism department provided, were excellent, with their medal provisions for all the winners. We were fortunate enough to have Javier LĂłpez (Facilities coordinator), Diana Box (Secretary of Sport) and Gitte Lund (Councilor of International Residents) attending to watch the finals and then help hand out winners trophies.
Arpamedia Broadcast Services, for their professional live streaming service, with over 15 hours of live footage, over the two days.

A big thanks to the two hotels, Hotel Playas de Guardamar and Hotel Playas de Torrevieja who provided excellent facilities and food.
Muchas Gracias to the team on the ground Antonio âBig Tonyâ Nawaqavou, Angelique Bisschop, Ignachio Daca and Felipe Lees Ibiricu (from Pescadors Sports Group), along with all the volunteers from the Sharks Rugby club too.
Our resident statisticians, admin gurus, those who collated results and try scorers, whilst also juggling refereeing duties too. Referee Coaches, Matt Boesen and Marc Rosenstiehl, who coached, Refereed, cajoled, motivated and helped organise the referee contingent across the event.
Finally to the full OT7 and wider crew, both on-site and behind their desks, for delivering another professional event - as always going above and beyond the call of duty, to ensure seamless delivery.
From the graphics, social media and team documentation, to the negotiations and in-country delivery. First to arrive and last to leave, it simply wouldnât have happened without your dedication and positive attitude.
The feedback has been excellent and itâs a credit to everyone involved.
