TNT26 teams preview - Men’s

TNT26 teams preview - Men’s

Super proud to announce we have a staggering TEN seniors and masters men’s teams attending this year.

Men’s format:

We have initially ranked them and split into two groups, Toros and Matadores.

Day one will see both groups play pool games, before being re-ranked into cup and plate groups.

Teams

With four new and six returning teams, we can’t wait to see the men’s division play out.

We have Argentinian, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Swiss, three English and a global ‘AllStars’ team.

Swiss Mountain Goats are returning, after coming agonisingly close to a podium spot last year, losing 5-4 in the bronze medal match.

OT7 Allstars have grown into men’s and mixed this year, so a newish line up for them, runners up in TNT25, can they finally take that elusive top spot?

Dutch Lions will be looking for revenge, men’s division runners up in 2023, winners in 2024 and bronze medallists last year.

Furios Fifties are made up from current and ex England international seniors and masters players, they will have a depth of skills and knowledge across the board. Will they upset any of the more youthful teams, time will tell.

Galaxy Cosmos are back with a men's team after winning last years mixed division in a dramatic drop off. With cartwheeling Georgia Haack playing men's, with Ngan Kee and Wooton, it's a strong line up.

Resulting Roosters are back again to show their prowess, and we also welcome the Spanish Men’s 45/50s team, along with their Men’s Open team on Saturday (day 2), which is the first time a Spanish team has joined us.

We are also excited to welcome our first Italian team, Splendidi Quarantenni, organised by Nicolo Colombo, we are excited to see them hit the field.

Lastly, Argentina Touch, ably led by Federico Black, who made his first appearance for Portugal in TNT23, coming 4th, before playing for the Irish Marley Park Tipsters in 2025, and going back to his roots this year.

OT7 TIPSTERS We are tipping Galaxy Cosmos and Dutch Lions to make the cup final… it’s a big (and very early) call! However, we can’t rule out the Swiss, Italians nor the AllStars team pushing them all the way.

TNT26 teams preview - Women's

We have six seniors and masters women’s teams attending this year.

Women’s format:

Single round robin, with straight finals.

Teams

All six teams are returning women’s teams, with three euro select teams, the Swiss Sparks, Scottish Gold Diggas and last years cup winners, Le Passion.

Le Passion will be looking to go back-to-back, as Lois Lau’s hand picked women’s team fields a small but strong team. No doubt their inherent competitive nature will have them setting their sights on silverware.

Euro Stars/Comets/Jets - The three Euro teams are an enigma, with an ever evolving and growing squad, they are stalwarts and previous winners of the Touch n Tapas Championships. Pocket rocket Miriam Evans joins the Comets team, returning top score Cecile Mas is turning out for the Jets, while Hester Williams returns as part of the Stars. Bags of experience across all three squads, and we’re excited to see what they can do.

Gold Diggas and Swiss Sparks are both back once again, both with new and experienced players amongst them. Cliodhna Phelan, Libby Steele and Fon Somers will likely lead the charge for the Sparks, while ex pro rugby player Conchita Lerin will bring her learnings too. Sara Ebbet and Michele Huchison return for Gold Diggas, and we expect big things from this team both on and off the field.. look out for their signature human pyramid!

OT7 TIPSTERS Even with a depleted squad of 10, we are tipping Le Passion to make the finals. But they’ll be pushed by the Euro teams every step of the way.

TNT26 teams preview - Mixed

Six teams make up the Mixed division, coming from Bulgaria, England, France x 2, Scotland and an AllStars team with players from England, Germany, Portugal, Spain and the USA.

Mixed format

Single round robin, with straight finals.

Teams

The Frenemies and the keen beans from France were the first to enter, ensuring zero FOMO. Composed of players from Hurricanes SMH and Free Touch Paris - rivals in the Paris touch scene. With Remy Merloz (French MO captain) and Hugo Berriat in the mix, it’s a  strong line up, and ones to watch.

Big Bang Europe were a founding member of the inaugural TNT, led by Touch legend, Cristof, they won the first ever men’s and shootout divisions in 2022, and came back in 2025 to take silver in the mixed division. Contenders for another podium finish.

You shouldn't underestimate the Scottish Quokkas. With Haggis, Whisky and Irn-Bru packed and ready for the trip, they have strength and depth in their ranks and are looking to make their mark at this year’s Touch N Tapas event after a 4th place finish in 2025.

Cheltenham Tigers make their debut, on the 10th anniversary of the club and have a touring kit just for this event. Expect outrageous dummies from Attwood and some off the cuff skills from Willams.

Stefan Doychev, the mastermind behind Bulgaria Touch brings his club team, Sofia Touch back to the venue they played the European Club Champs in 2022.

OT7 Allstars have assembled a strong team, with multiple returning players from last years silver medal team, with the addition of USA’s Erika Farias and Touch Deutschland’s president Henrik Gaida joining the ranks. Oscar Davies, last years winner with triple threat brings his coaching prowess, and bolsters the squad with Allstars regulars Cropper, Benzie, and Kenny in the mix too.

OT7 TIPSTERS On paper, the pundits had a tough job splitting the top four teams – Allstars, Frenemies, Cheltenham and Big Bang. But expect an all French final.
